The team of World of Elex is present at Gamescom as well and has met Piranha Bytes yesterday. After a lengthy presentation of the game the Piranhas also were available for an interview. Impressions of the game and the interview video will be online later today!

Piranha Bytes has announced that a new Elex demo will be playable at Gamescom from 17th to 21st August. The booth C20 for Elex can be found in the entertainment area in hall 8. Furthermore, on 20th August at 18:00, the community meeting with Piranha Bytes is taking place. Meeting point is at the main entrance (south entrance) on the great stairway. Piranha Bytes asks to announce your participation in this thread.

Of course the World of Elex will be both at Gamescom and the community meeting and report to you!

In a somewhat unconventional press release (Quote: “Who the FUCK is Nordic Games?”) Nordic Games has announced to rename itself into THQ Nordic. They are very proud of their swedish roots, but now the time has come to represent the brand THQ as an important part of the company. At the moment, 23 games are in development at Nordic Games, 13 of them still unannounced - one of the other 10 games is ELEX of course. Or like the press release says:

TL;DR: Nordic Games + THQ = THQ Nordic from now on, due to numerous reasons explained in a bit more detail in the text.

On Facebook Piranha Bytes has given a small insight into the level design of Elex with the help of a tower ruin. Special attention by the developer is paid to the hand crafted world and its details, so that the player gets a unique world that begs to be explored.

In the past, Piranha Bytes released new information about the monsters in Elex. This continues today with new information about the Jackal published on Elex' Facebook page.

The Jackal has a very good ear, sharp claws and is littered with dirt and scars. Although there are a few domesticated examples, you should approach them with caution.
