With a small delay we want to report on information that was mentioned in the official press release on the Gothic remake: While THQ Nordic's Studio in Barcelona is working on the remake of the Piranha Bytes classic, PB's own project will be announced this year:
Q: Is Piranha Bytes involved in the project?
A: No! Piranha Bytes is working hard on a different project, which will be announced in 2020.
As was known since before the release of Elex, the new project is most likely Elex 2. But whether the new game will be released this year can't be said based on this information and remains to be seen.
