At their presentation at RPC 2016 in Cologne, Piranha Bytes presented us a short trailer for the game as well as new screenshots and new information about their game Elex. But how big will the world be? Find out after the break!
Jenny from Piranha Bytes stated that the world of Elex will be one and a half times the size of the world of Gothic 3.
PB is also still internally discussing whether Elex will have a cheat console. It is also already possible to shoot with ranged weapons while using the jetpack. It will be possible to kill nearly every NPC in the game, but doing so will have consequences for the player. There will be scripted events in the world, like a monster attacking a certain NPC when seeing him the first time.
The combat in the game will be configurable: You'll be able to choose the general difficulty, how many enemys can attack you at the same time and how short the time window for combos is. Combat will be more dynamic as well, a mech can shoot, hit you or jump onto you for example.
It is also pretty evident that the graphics will make a huge jump compared to Risen 3: The textures look a lot sharper, armors feature more detail and the lighting looks better because of global illumination. More information, pictures and videos from RPC later.
